The day also includes an introduction and overview of expressive tools in the Melofonetica Method led by Matteo Dalle Fratte.

1. Minimum age
Participants must be age 18 or over.

2. Cancellations and refunds
If a participant is no longer able to attend, the following cancellation charges apply: Cancellation made over 2 calendar months before the start date: 100% refund, less £20 administration fee. Cancellation made between 1 and 2 calendar months before the start date: 50% refund, less £20 administration fee. Cancellation made less than 1 calendar month before the start date: no refund. In all cases it is possible to nominate another person to attend in the participant’s place, providing such a person is of the appropriate musical standard required and that we receive all relevant details for the replacement participant well in advance of the course start date. In the unlikely event that we cancel a course, payment will be refunded in full.

3. Privacy
At Melofonetica, we are committed to protecting your information. We take the necessary steps to ensure that your information is safeguarded and kept in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We will keep participants’ personal information on a database held only by us for the purposes of our own administration. Our Privacy Policy is available to view on our website and provides more information on how we use the personal information we collect about you. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

4. Photos, videos and audio recordings
It is normal practice for us to take photos and/or videos and/or audio recordings during our courses. We may use some of these in our publicity including promotional materials, website, email and social media channels. If you do not wish to appear in photos, videos or audio recordings, please let us know in advance.

You may be able to record the teaching/coaching sessions held during our courses provided that the recordings are for your own personal use, won’t be reproduced for any purpose other than your own study and that you have the prior permission of any other participant and/or member of staff you are recording.

5. Course information
Melofonetica endeavours to keep all course information correct and up-to-date. However, we reserve the right to alter course details including tutor and venue details at any time if unforeseen circumstances occur. Course participants will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.

6. Liability
Melofonetica and our coaches can not be held liable for accidents or damage to property which are caused by a participant and involving either himself/herself or any other participant or staff on a course. In such cases the participant will take full responsibility for their actions and for any loss or damage caused, including reimbursement of any costs incurred by the affected party or venue as a result of such an incident. Melofonetica will at all times ensure, so far as is reasonably possible, a safe environment at the course venues used. Participants agree to indemnify Melofonetica against any claims and/or legal fees resulting from any incident or accident whilst on the premises. In cases where car parking is made available, Melofonetica can not be held responsible for damage or loss to vehicles.

Melofonetica holds no liability for and makes no guarantees concerning the level of success that participants may experience following the guidance provided in our courses and participants accept that results will differ for each individual.

7. Conduct
We expect and hope that all participants will have an enjoyable experience and will make every effort to show respect at all times to fellow participants and coaches. Melofonetica reserves the right to remove any participant from a session if they show any unpleasant behaviour towards others.

8. Assistance
If a participant needs assistance or has any cause for concern or complaint about any aspect of the session(s) attended they should contact a member of the Melofonetica team and we will do our best to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

9. Force Majeure
Melofonetica is not liable in the event where it is unable to fulfil any service to which it is contractually bound because of fire, natural disaster, acts of government, failure of suppliers or subcontractors, labour disputes or other reasons which are outside its control.

10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, or Melofonetica programmes, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
